    We have developed our policies to reflect the fact that customer service is our top priority at Higuera. Please review our policies carefully, especially if you choose to special order any of our products. If you would like to learn more please select from the following subjects:

    Special Order Policy
    For items not in stock or special requests:
    Although Higuera Hardwoods stocks a large inventory and has container shipments arriving often, we are occasionally sold out on some products. If you would like the item reserved solely for you on arrival, then we will require payment on the item. If you choose to do this, we do offer a 30-day unconditional return policy (excluding shipping charges). We understand that you may feel more comfortable seeing the item before committing to the purchase. We strive to make every effort that we can to honor our customer's requests, so please feel free to contact us with any requests you may have. We will investigate the request and respond back to you as soon as we can to inform you of the time required and other issues that may need to be resolved. .  We encourage our customers to inform our staff as to how they can best help you with our product.

    Bamboo products:
     Lead-time on special orders:  Approximately six to ten weeks
    All Higuera Hardwoods special orders must be filled by our manufactury facaility in China ,please be prepared to wait up two months for the completion of your individual requests. When your order arrives, inspect it, we will notify you and prepare it for pick up, delivery or shipping. Higuera Hardwood will contact you to confirm your availability for receipt of the shipment or pickup.
    Buyers will be asked to approve drawings or other specifications in writing before non-stock items are produced or purchased.
    Not all items are stocked at all locations. Buyers are encouraged to call and verify availability.

    Higuera Hardwoods reserves the right to changestocking product sizes,colors or styles as needed.
    Mouldings are sold in set length. Specified lengths for larger sizes are available on special order basis


    Ordering Information:

    Your order will be shipped within two to three business days or we will advise you if there are circumstances that will delay us from completing this obligation.
    Merchandise can be returned or exchanged for 30 days from time of purchase with original packing and receipt, after 30 days we will exchange or refund merchandise for credit only. Return shipping for damaged items is Higuera Hardwoods responsibility. In other cases, we request that the customer pay the return shipping costs.


    ACCOUNTS AND TERMS:
     Sales other than open account are cash on delivery.
    Higuera Hardwoods accepts company and personal checks as well as VISA, MasterCard and American Express.
    Open accounts are established with a signed credit application which will need to be approved by our credit department. Business terms are net 15 days for new accounts and net 30 days are given to established companies at Higuera Hardwoods discretion.
    Invoices not paid by due date will be subject to a 1-1/2% service charge per month on overdue amounts.
    Seller reserves the right to hold or re-schedule deliveries on delinquent accounts.
     A $45.00 charge is assessed on all returned checks.


    DELIVERY:
     Deliveries are made by our drivers in the Seattle metropitan area otherwise freight is sent out via FedEx Freight or Oak Harbor trucking lines.
     A minimum fee of $50.00 for orders over $500.00 or $75.00 for orders under $500.00 will be charged for each drop if scheduled on a day when our truck is in your area unless other arrangements are made between buyer and seller. (Weight and size of order may also cause this amount to be adjusted)
    When goods are shipped via common carrier, responsibility of the seller terminates upon acceptance of material from the carrier.
    ALWAYS SIGN THE RECEIPT "SUBJECT TO INSPECTION FOR CONCEALED DAMAGE".
    If you receive damage products: please note all damage immediately and report it to Higuera Hardwoods. If you are returning merchandise that was received damaged, you must notify Higuera Hardwoods within 2 days of receiving your damaged items in writing and photos so that a claim may be filed.


    Missing Items:
    You must notify Higuera Hardwoods within 2 days of receiving your items to report anything missing.Higuera Hardwoods will first try to repair or replace the damaged merchandise. If that is not possible due to lack of stock, an appropriate refund, or adjustment can be made.


    Return Policy:
    No items will be accepted back without prior return authorization. Please obtain a return authorization by calling or emailing us at contact@higuerahardwoods.com before returning ANY merchandise. Please return all materials in original NEW condition and original packing to avoid damage and to receive a full product refund. The purchase price of the product excluding the shipping charges incurred will be refunded if the item is returned less than 30 days after the date of purchase. After 30 days, the item will be treated as a credit only. We do not accept returns 60 days after purchase for credit or refund. No returns will be authorized for permanently assembled items. We do have 15% restocking charge for any products that are not damaged or defective when they are returned.
    Pack the product as you received them (on a pallet, if shipped on a pallet). This is so that the product is not damaged in return shipment. We do not refund or credit for damaged items.
    Send package back with shipper prepaid
    Credit for purchase price of product will be given when received, inspected for damage, use etc., and processed. If after 30 days only credit will be issued with a max time period of 60 days on any returns or cancellations of orders will be accepted.
    Shipping Instructions and Returns:
    This information covers shipping instructions for all our products.
    Shipping for larger shipment is through common trucking line carrier like FedEx freight. For smaller items, we use FedEx exclusively. Shipping rates are for the continental United States only. Please call us for overseas shipments to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Alaska, and Canada.
    All items are shipped FOB Poulsbo, Washington USA. You are responsible for receiving the shipment. If the carrier cannot make contact with you, the shipping liability is yours, since the shipping organization has performed their service (of getting the goods to you). If you need special, arrangements please contact us or the shipping organization to try to accommodate your requirements.


    Backorders:
    If an item is not in stock, we will notify you immediately. All back orders are kept open and shipped unless expressly cancelled by the customer. We reserve right to refuse material to any client if necessary for any reason.

    Disputes:
    Arbitration. It is the intention of the parties that any claim, action or proceeding arising under or in connection with this agreement or the transactions contemplated hereunder or out of the distributorship relationship between principal and customer or the end of that relationship, shall be resolved by final and binding arbitration. Arbitration shall be by a single arbitrator experienced in the matters at issue and selected by principal and agent in accordance with the Rules of Procedure for Christian Conciliation of the Institute for Christian Conciliation, a division of Peacemaker Ministries. The arbitration shall be held in Seattle, Washington and shall be conducted in accordance with the Rules of Procedure for Christian Conciliation existing at the date thereof of the Institute for Christian Conciliation, a division of Peacemaker Ministries, to the extent not inconsistent with this Agreement. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding and may be enforced in any court of competent jurisdiction. All costs and expenses incurred in connection with any such arbitration proceeding (including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees of both parties) shall be borne by the party against which the decision is rendered, or, if no decision is rendered or if the decision is a compromise, shall be shared equally by the parties. The foregoing provision shall not prevent Principal or Agent from seeking temporary injunctive relief from a court, pending resolution through arbitration, for any actual, anticipated, or threatened breach of the confidentiality provisions or restrictions as contained in this Agreement. In the event of any court proceedings pursuant to the foregoing or as a result of an appeal from or enforcement of an arbitration award, the prevailing party shall be entitled to receive from the other its reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs incurred in connection with such proceedings.


    Privacy Policy:
    When you place an order with us, we request your name, billing address, shipping address, credit card number and expiration date and email address. We consider this information to be private and we only keep your credit card information long enough to complete your transactions. We use a fully encrypted SSL web server for all of your transactions. Please ensure your web page shows the lock icon in the lower right hand corner or in the upper right corner when you are on the final check out pages to ensure there are no server problems. Any information you provide to Higuera Hardwoods will be kept in complete confidence. We will not share any information with anyone under any circumstances.

    The personal information that you share with us is secured and encrypted using the latest technologies and industry standards. We can assure you that this information will be secure during its transmission and after its receipt by us.
